Samsung 26a450

I purchased this Samsung 26A450 Television when it first came out last year for about $600 I paid too much, but I was very pleased with it. At this point  I have had one years to play with it, and in this article are my results.[ReviewAZON asin="B001418XS0" display="inlinepost"]

1. A lot of companies do not care about if a good 26 “LCD, but it was a great example of a smaller solid screen. Exceptional image quality and calibration tools. It also has a large screen area, all contribute well to such a small screen. It’s rare to find a good TV in this size that will give you 3 HDMIand 2 component inputs. It also has an S-Video / Composite.

2. This also works as a PC monitor. I used it as a PC monitor for two months and love it. I have an old PC with a decent graphics card, but this baby is fantastic!

3. The speakers on the system are ok, but not as bad as some reviews claim. I found that even at its lowest, they are still quite strong. If you expect a great sound from this TV you’re just asking too much.

4. I hate the shiny surface. I hate cleaning the thing.  LCDS suck dust like crazy. I know everyone likes the look of sleek and shiny, but id go to a dull suface for the rest of the TV.

5. The price I paid was too high, and if you buy on the net or in a sale you will currently pay no more than $300.

I plan to get a new smaller TV next year, but this will dof ror now. Its perfect as a bedroom or a second TV, but my Samsung 26A450 will do me for now as it is the most beautiful little TV on the market.
